Kannada Audio.com, Raaga.com New Releases in my Local Host
For sake of listening new songs i used to go to kannadaaudio.com, or raaga.com and listen, well nower days popups, trojan, worms are screwing me, so i decided to write a perl script which crawls/gets new songs from these websites and fetches me the new songs..! well now..i can connect to these sites frm my localhost.

Dude, why do you have to use Perl for this purpose. Greasemonkey is what you need - this is one of the ideal situations to use it.

bcoz i love perl, and its just a 5 lines of code, it does my task, use perl when we have to use perl, when the things r easy, go with it.

You don't get it, do you? You expect anyone else who wants to use it to have a server running on their box? Moreover, why do you want to unnecessarily spawn a server proess when you can easily avoid it?

Ever heard of reusability? Ever heard of "use the right tool"? Apparently not.

Yup, Localhost..means my machine, This script is written by me and used by me, i needed the data, i got it in just 5 lines of code, do u know perl rocks, yup this is a simple example. and other thing for doing a simple task , i dont want use a big tool which does this small task for me, well coming to tools i knw a lot what kind of tools do u want say me, i dont want to use unnecessarily those..! u mentioned about greasemonkey gud ...in order to do my process ..should i do these steps..suppose if dunno this..think as a simple(general) user

Getting started:
Install Greasemonkey.
Learn how to use Greasemonkey.
Find useful scripts.

Hey..when u can do the things in a simple way..why do u want to make it complicated..this is out of scope for a programmer, and dependancy is more.! dont do dude, stick on urself, when u know tht u can write a efficent code, stick on to that..! tools should be used..when tools should be used..i hope u got it..!

Greasemonkey is JavaScript, btw. There's nothing to learn.

adblock(http://adblock.mozdev.org/) with Pierceive Filterset.G (http://www.pierceive.com/) shud remove most of the ads.

Also checkout my greasemonkey script RaagaAdSkipper (http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/1699) to skip audio ads.
